Kass studied at The Ruth Prowse School of Art after finishing school in Namibia, she found her love for photography at an early age when taking action shots of her brother and his friends. Paging through the fashion spreads and advertisements in magazines have been her biggest inspiration to date, and her work reflects the passion she has for her photography.

Having worked on set with both local and international models, Kass found her niche in the industry and takes pleasure in editing her beautifully lit and well considered work. “Striving to create beautiful images is what I live for.”

Fluent in German and English, she has had the honor of assisting many great international and local photographers in the past years and has finally set up her own studio at The Pixel Foundry in true German perfection and organized style.

Kass is passionate about fashion photography, with swimwear and beauty her forte, she agrees with Ansel Adams who said "Seeing is not as easy as it looks".

Malcolm Dare has worked as a professional photographer in Cape Town, South Africa since 1990, taking time out to work in the Netherlands where he gained two years of international experience.

After shooting film for many years, he progressed into the digital medium in 1996, and has since become a leading authority on the digital workflow process, hosting industry workshops and lecturing to international forums.

With his extensive knowledge of specialized software and the digital workflow process, Malcolm has originated superlative print and packaging solutions to a wide spectrum of clients. The combination of his many years of experience, digital knowledge and 'can do' attitude makes him a favourite with a wide range of clients, ranging from stills and food to people.

Silver and bronze award winner for fashion and beauty, Malcolm also recieved a certificate of excellence at the 2006 Fujifilm photographic awards - a true reflection of his dedication to photography of the highest quality.

Matthys is a Cape Town based advertising photographer and his enthusiasm and drive have developed his career and client base at an unbelievable pace. This is testament to his ability and dedication to photography.

Mike Robinson's photographic career began at Photographic College in the UK after which he worked in London for a number of years as an assistant and later as a photographer. During a visit to South Africa Mike was offered a great job opportunity shooting fashion. He accepted and continued doing fashion photography for 4 years, after which he decided to start his own professional photographic studio. Setting up on his own, he concentrated on still life and eventually specialised in food and beverage photography, whilst still handling many other aspects of advertising work ie. lifestyle and automotive photography.

Mike has recently converted to digital and has been shooting with the Lightphase and H20 digital backs.The response to this change-over was overwhelmingly positive and his clients immediately accepted it as a superior method of shooting. Working in a digital environment has freed Mike from the time constraints associated with polaroid and film and has allowed him more time to concentrate on the lighting aspect of the shoot at hand - which greatly benefits the quality of the final shot.

I am constantly asked, "How did I become a photographer?" My standard reply, "Completely by chance… I never planned on being a photographer." It just goes to show that life is an amazing journey and voyage of discovery.
