David Bloomer

Specialising in portraits, advertising, fashion, documentary and landscapes, David Bloomer has been shooting in Cape Town - often in Johannesburg too - for nine years, starting out as a press photographer in the early nineties. He loves to combine reality with the staged, therefore his work reflects his journalistic experience combined with his strong sense of creativity.

David regularly works with international and local film companies, shooting publicity and advertising for TV and film. Over the years, he has been lucky enough to work with celebrities such as Colin Farrell, Salma Hayek, Meg Ryan, Bill Macey, Andy Mc Dowell, Richard E Grant and renowned clients Sony, Paramount, CBS, Sci Fi and Hallmark.
