Dalene Crafford

After graduating from the University of Stellenbosch in 1981, Dalene Crafford began her career in the food industry undertaking product development, recipe development and food styling. Since 2000 she has been free-lancing as a food stylist and recipe developer. She has worked with numerous photographers and has a great deal of experience in this field.

Dalene also teaches a hands-on food styling course at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). A new endeavour is ChitChatCuisine - a unique food corporate team building experience, where the focus is on tasting a variety of her super-easy recipes and showing participants how to present food in a uniquely eye-catching way.

Dalene combines her passion for food with creativity and attention to detail. She will undertake food styling and recipe development to suit a client's individual requirements e.g. editorials, advertorials, advertising, packaging, recipe books, brochures, websites.
